Notice (fr) : La grande vallée est un parcours nocturne non loin d’une rivière. L’espace alentour est sauvage, encore chargé de l’humidité d’un orage qui a claqué dans les campagnes d’été. L’homme qui marche est ce primitif caché sous le visage de chacun — homme du dehors et du vent, de la nature encore vierge. Il chemine à son rythme, calmement, se nourrit d’espace, d’objets scintillants, du chant lointain d’animaux mystérieux. Guidé par une muse à la voix étrange, il se laisse enlacer de ces cris qui l’enroulent dans le paysage de son esprit en une vague plénière. Une faune et une flore lumineuse, riche, vivante, l’enveloppent de rameaux incandescents. L’homme est seul. L’espace est libre. Ouvert. Le marcheur n’a pas peur. Finalement, il s’approche d’un groupe d’humains, les traverse, s’éloigne et continue son chemin…
Notice (en) : La grande vallée (The wide valley) is a night path not far from a river. The land all around is wild, still charged with the dampness of a storm that has broken in the summer countryside. The man walking is this primitive hidden behind the face of everyone: the man of the outdoors and the wind, of a nature still virgin (pristine). He walks to his own rhythm, calmly, nourishing himself on space, sparkling objects, and the far-off cries of mysterious animals. Guided by a strange-voiced muse, he allows himself to become entwined by these cries which roll him up in the landscape of his spirit in a plenary wave. A luminous, rich, lively flora and fauna envelops him in its incandescent boughs. The man is alone. The space is free. Open. The walker is not afraid.
