Un peu de hasard, mais surtout du jeu. Une onde qui entre et qui sort ailleurs, transformée. Une donnée entrante, une autre perdue. Un processus en vase clos qui explose. S’enfarger dans un fil, et le tenir. Se perdre en chemin, et s’endormir. Faire naître, à partir de rien, de ce que l’on tient dans nos mains, puis de ce qui s’en échappe. In Vitro est un collectif variable montréalais fondé en 2000 par Lévy Bourbonnais et Colin Gagné. Entre l’impro et le cadre, l’instrument et la machine, la pulsion et la trame, il propose une musique hybride dans une optique «live». Il propose aussi de s’arrêter de lire dès maintenant et d’écouter la chanson. |

A touch of randomness, but mostly play. A wave that comes in and goes out somewhere else, transformed. A data input, another lost. A secluded process breaking down closed doors. Tripping over a wire and holding on to it. Getting lost on the way and falling asleep. Giving birth out of nothing, from what we hold in our hands, and from what slips out of them. In Vitro is a shape-shifting collective from Montreal, formed in 2000 by Lévy Bourbonnais and Colin Gagné. Between improv and structure, instrument and machine, pulse and framework, it offers a hybrid form of music in a live context. It also offers to stop reading right now and listen to the tune. |
