He has been an Artist-in-Residence at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, the Montana Artists Refuge, the Prairie Center of the Arts, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Ucross Foundation and others.

Mr Goldman holds degrees from New England Conservatory of Music (BM in music performance) and Brooklyn College, CUNY (MM in music composition). Currently, he is pursuing a doctoral degree in music composition at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM).
